Organization Overview: Theological Education Association of Eurasia (TEAE) is a network of evangelical theological institutions committed to strengthening theological education across Eurasia. Its mission is to promote excellence in theological education, foster collaboration among institutions, and equip churches with well-trained, spiritually mature Christian leaders. TEAE supports its member institutions through accreditation, quality assurance, institutional development, research, and international partnerships. With a strong emphasis on biblical faithfulness and spiritual formation, TEAE seeks to help theological institutions prepare leaders who will faithfully serve the Church and positively impact their communities.
Subgrant Project Description: The TEAE project aims to strengthen the integration of spiritual formation into theological education across Eurasia. Through a collaborative research initiative, theological educators and researchers from different countries are exploring how spiritual formation is understood and practiced within their cultural, ecclesiastical, and educational contexts. The project includes research, editorial support, the preparation of scholarly papers, and the presentation and discussion of findings at the TEAE General Assembly in Kyrgyzstan on May 11–13, 2027, where spiritual formation will be the central theme. The initiative seeks to foster meaningful dialogue, encourage collaboration among theological institutions, and develop practical recommendations for integrating spiritual formation more intentionally into theological curricula and institutional life. Ultimately, the project aims to help theological schools prepare spiritually mature Christian leaders who can faithfully serve their churches and communities.
Location: Eurasia (multiple countries through participating theological institutions), Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan (TEAE General Assembly, May 11–13, 2027).
