Description: OCMS works advance study, educate and research in God’s mission and to convene practitioners, scholars and leaders in creative and prophetic dialogue, equipping individuals, leaders, churches and institutions, prioritising those on the cutting edge of God’s transforming mission. Subgrant Project Description: Our project explores the enduring tradition of extempore theological poetry in the Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo tradition known as Qǝne. These poems are aimed at promoting deep spiritual reflection, seeking to bring about a renewed mind, so promoting worship.
