Organization Overview: Bethel University is historically grounded in the Pietist tradition, founded in 1871 by and for Swedish immigrants. The Seminary aims to train "strong leaders and develop deep spiritual foundations ... [involving] hands-on training for a fully realized Christian life" (https://www.bethel.edu/about/faith/).

Subgrant Project Description: To evaluate the relation between changes in seminary students' character and religious/spiritual life over time, and the predictors of those trajectories, and to compare trajectories on mental health and well-being outcomes.
