Organization Overview: Centro Latino is a 50 year old theological education program for Spanish-speaking and bilingual learners and students, with two masters' programs, a doctorate of ministry and five professional certificates. We are a research center and convene intergenerational networks of pastoral leaders. Our core mission is to equip transnational extended families in ministry. Our distinctives include a commitment to holistic mission, women's leadership, academic excellence integrated with spiritual formation, global dialogue and Christ-centered, Spirit-filled discipleship.
Subgrant Project Description: We are studying a wide range of Latino/a pastors in the US and in our broader international network to discover their beliefs and practices related to spiritual formation, using a participatory model that includes in-depth interviews, focus groups, and a research analysis team with interdisciplinary expertise.
Locations: Throughout the United States and the broader Spanish-speaking world.
